🛠 Identity & Access
1. Can I change my Name or Age?
No. To maintain a safe and authentic community, your Name and Birthdate are permanent once you save your profile. Even our support team and admins cannot change these details for you. Please ensure they are correct before hitting save!
- It is important to note that your age will update automatically on your birthday.
2. What are the Gender options?
GlowiLink currently supports two gender options: Male and Female. We do not support other selections at this time.
3. How does Gold Access (Gold Pass) work?
- Rewarded Ad Model: GlowiLink does not process financial transactions or use In-App Purchases (IAP). Premium features are unlocked voluntarily by watching rewarded video advertisements through Google Mobile Ads, granting incremental time extensions (e.g., 6 hours per ad up to a daily maximum).
- No Auto-Billing: Gold privileges expire automatically based on your rolling account-bound activity cycle without any automatic charges.
🔧 Common Fixes
1. Verification Issues
- OTP Delay: If you don’t receive your code right away, please wait at least 1 minute and 30 seconds before requesting a new one.
- Lost OTP: If you lose your code, please wait 1 hour and 30 minutes before requesting another.
- Email Already in Use: If your email is already registered, try logging in, or wait 2 hours if you need to reuse the address.
2. Password Reset
If you requested a reset link and it hasn’t arrived:
- Check your Spam or Promotions folder.
- Ensure you are using the same email you registered with.
3. Account Reactivation
If you previously hibernated your account, simply log in. A prompt will appear asking if you’d like to reactivate. Select Reactivate to restore your profile.

📊 1. DATA COLLECTION & ACCURACY
We collect necessary data (Email, Name, Birthdate, Gender, Bio, and Avatar) to build and authenticate your profile securely via Supabase infrastructure and encrypted auth tokens:
- Fixed Identity Data: To maintain platform integrity, your Name and Birthdate are permanent once saved. Your Age updates automatically on your verified birthday.
- Gender Policy: We strictly support and store gender data as either Male or Female.
- Other Info: Your bio and photos remain editable at your discretion.
📍 2. LOCATION PRIVACY & DISCRETIONARY SHARING
Your privacy is our priority:
- We use your location to calculate distance only and power nearby discovery feeds.
- You acknowledge that sharing your proximity, exact movements, or coordinates within chats or profiles is entirely at your own discretion. We never sell or display your exact coordinates or residential address to third parties.
- Infrastructure: All personal data is encrypted and stored securely using Supabase infrastructure.
- Media & Disappearing Messages: Avatar images and chat photos are securely stored via Supabase storage. View-once images are automatically deleted from server storage immediately after being opened by the recipient. Disappearing messages are purged based on your active chat duration settings.
🗑️ 4. PERMANENT DELETION & HIBERNATION
You maintain full control over your data:
- Hibernate Account: Hides your profile while preserving your data for easy reactivation upon logging back in.
- Delete Account: Triggers an immediate and permanent wipe of your profile, matches, messages, and associated storage files from our servers.
🤝 5. THIRD PARTIES & ADVERTISING
- Data Integrity: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to commercial third parties. Data is only shared when legally mandated or required to protect platform safety.
- Advertising: We utilize Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to power our rewarded video system. AdMob may collect non-personal device identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy to serve contextually relevant rewarded advertisements.

📝 1. ACCEPTANCE
By creating an account, watching rewarded ads, or using the GlowiLink app, you agree to be bound by these rules. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
🆔 2. PROFILE & IDENTITY PERMANENCE
To ensure the integrity and safety of our community, your profile identity is fixed upon creation:
- Permanent Details: Once your profile is saved, your Name and Birthdate cannot be changed under any circumstances. While your name is permanently locked, your Age updates automatically on your birthday.
- Gender Selection: Selection is limited strictly to Male or Female. No other options are supported.
🔞 3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years of age to use GlowiLink. By using the service, you represent that you have a clean criminal record and are not prohibited from using social networking platforms.
🚫 4. CONDUCT & SAFETY
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Harassment: Bullying or stalking other users.
- Deception: Catfishing or creating fake/impersonation profiles.
- Safety: Any behavior that threatens community standards or safety policies.

- User Discretion: Sharing images, videos, exact location points, or any personal data via chats, profile bios, or media uploads is done strictly at your own discretion and risk.
- Neutral Platform & Disclaimer: GlowiLink acts exclusively as a neutral hosting platform. The developer(s) exercise absolute discretion regarding content moderation and shall not be held accountable or liable for any legal issues, disputes, damages, off-platform meetings, or untoward incidents arising from user interactions, shared media, or self-disclosed personal data.
🔒 7. TERMINATION
GlowiLink reserves the absolute right to suspend, hibernate, or permanently delete accounts and purge associated media storage without prior notice for safety violations, identity policy breaches, or guidelines violations.
